Zafar Khan, Taj al-Din Muhammad Lur Farsi

   His family came possibly from southwest Persia. During the Bengal cam-paign of 1360, Firuz Shah Tughlaq (1351-1388) had agreed to withdraw from Sonargaon on the condition that his client, Zafar Khan, would be installed there. But Zafar Khan chose instead to re-turn to Delhi.
